Hey Guys! ( I told you that I would do another blog update!...except this one is actually for school as well)
Anyways! This is my final FINAL school blog update! Then the rest will be unscripted and unstructured...ish. So, now for project reflection!
So, the biggest challenge that I have faced in this project is time organization. This means that we didn't use our time wisely and/or were not organized with our time. For example,we profusely struggled with finding time to get together to film our videos. We had all our scripts done, yet each time we had tried get together, one of us was unable to. In the end we did not manage to "overcome" this challenge by the deadline of this project. I think this because we did not end up having a finished 'video' product done. Therefore, we didn't overcome the issue of getting together to film. However, we are planning on "overcoming" this challenge outside of school.
The biggest thing that I learned from this project, and will take away for the future, was just how significant all of the Mental Health Illnesses we had learned about are. Through this project I had also learned how to notice them and deal with them as well. All these skills that I have obtained through this project I will use for my kids, my peers, and all those that might suffer through them.
I do think that schools across America should have 20% projects because it teaches them independence and responsibility. It also gives kids a sense of purpose and excitement. It would be a great and valuable experience for all teenagers, giving them a base for life after school and perhaps even an insight to owning a business.
So yeah, thats the last one! Stay tuned for next time and check out Lydia's Blog at http://lsouthworth.weebly.com/20-blog !!! and enjoy this picture of me "Thuggin' it" for a school advisory olympics XP
