Self-Portrait Project
This was a 'free' project. All we were told to do was create something that represented ourselves, whether it was a photo or a drawing or an object. So I decide to take a photo and create a collage on Polyvore. So on my first picture I did a collage on Polyvore. The anime in the middle is supposed to represent me and my love for anime. Then around the anime girl there are words that describe me or relate to me. I included the Eiffel Tower in the back to represent that I am 50% french and I travel a lot. Also, The notebook that the college is on represents my hobbies of writing and reading. The pink horse is to represent my favorite animal and how I'm a 'country girl'. The cupcakes on the bottom represent my love for sweets and the Disney logo represents how I grew up on Disney and still love it. The blue is to represent my favorite color and the words "smile", "dream", and "Courage" is what I try to do. Lastly the headphones represent my love for music. On the second photo it shows some typical stuff that would be on my desk, all with a meaning: My computer for technology, A blue ribbon for track, A book for reading, A picture of my friends and I, Headphones for music, The sticky note is my quote I live by, and the paper has a bunch of words that describe me. The next three picture are some cool quotes showing my love of art, and the last photo is for you\u to figure out ;)
Teacher Creature Project
In the Teacher Creature Project we were to select a teacher and transform them into a "creature". A creature could have been a zombie, fairy. bear, fish, bird, a superhero, bush, tree, really anything you can come up with. Ill explain more about my project below:
The Project above is the project I have created, from SCRATCH!!, in Photoshop. It is a picture of a Mountain Goat skiing in Chamonix, France around Christmas time at sunset. How I created this is by starting with a white piece of paper, on photoshop. Then I searched up all the images (on the proof sheet) online according to the teacher I picked. I then started cropping, moving, fading, blending, etc. the pictures together to create a silly scene of the teacher i chose to portray. What I think I could have improved on is showing more resemblance in the goat and my teacher, so you can actually tell which teacher my teacher creature was just by looking at it.

Photoshop Tutorials
To get a little more familiar with photoshop we were to look at a bunch of tutorials, pick some that we like and do them. It was actually really fun! I enjoyed it a lot and really got to understand the basics of photoshop more.
In this image I changed the hair color to purple by anding a "soft light" layer and painting the hair, with a feathered brush, purple. Then erasing what I needed.
In this image I created Vampire Fangs by selecting the teeth i wanted with the pen tool, then warping them to be longer and pointier than the other teeth.
In this image I changed the eye color from grayish to blue by selecting the iris with the pen tool, Then making the selection, setting it to zero, and changing the hue and saturation to a lighter blue.
In this image I took off the braces. I haven't yet fully completed working on this photo, though its completed enough to give you guys an idea of it might look like. How I did this was by using the patch tool to select the brace and drag it to an area that had a close enough "tooth" texture. Then I smudged, sharpened, and blurred it to the appropriate "look". A reminder that people have braces for a reason, so the teeth will not look "perfect".
Name Project
In this Project we were to go around the outside world and see the not obvious parts of objects to crete our names. I used a past photo of my skis crossed to make a "V", A fire hydrant for the "I", a leaf from St. John USVI for the "C", A parking lot space for the "T", A bike wheel as the "O", The shadow of a hand hose as a "R", A leaf as an "I", and the Eiffel Tower as an "A". I put these all together in a certain order to create my name! Plus, I created the background in photoshop.
Photoshop Mini Project
In this project I learned that there is an importance in scale and proportion in all backgrounds. So in the project we were to understand that importance and apply our new knowledge to creating our own scene with great amount of pictures. I took the flowers and the tent and photoshopped those pictures into this background. This was the first project I have created on photoshop. So its not the best.
