Hey Guys!
So today is the last "official" post that I will be doing. This project's deadline is the end of this week, yet our project won't be finish right on that deadline. So, Ive decided to keep this blog up until I feel we are pretty done with this project. As in we have all the filming done and the website completely finished. So stay tuned!
Anyways! This week and the past week has been primarily comprised of working on our TED talk. Which will be about the overall outcome of this project. Lydia and I have been working combining and editing our TED talks. Then we plan on gathering as many critiques as we can and lots of practicing.
The primary major challenge that I have been having these past few weeks is being unmotivated. I know this sounds really bad yet, our project is currently at a standstill. We have been primarily focusing on our TED talk which is a little boring to me, causing me to become unfocused and unable to work efficiently. This has been a real struggle and the only time that I have found works for me to be productive is at 9:30 pm, when everyone is asleep and it's dark out. This isn't really good either because although I might get the work done I was suppose to in class, when I turn up the next day I tend to have some trouble staying awake which just feeds my "unfocusness" and causes me to become less productive. So, as I have said, this has been a real struggle.
What I have learned since my last blog update is that although in some instances I work better with a partner/friend, some instances I don't. A partner keeps me accountable and if its one of my friends then he/she makes the project more fun and conferrable for me. Yet, sometimes, I do admit, they can be distracting. For example in those moments where I do have focus I need to be silent and completely focused on that one task, and if someone talks to me it breaks my focus. So, I think the best solution to this is to have a partner and then just some individual work time.
Anyways! See you all next blog update! Stay tuned and thanks to of all those that read this! Go check out my partner's blog (Lydia, Duh) at http://lsouthworth.weebly.com/20-blog And here's a Picture of one of my puppies :D have a wonderful day ^-^
